Wedding Photography across Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, The Cotswolds and Buckinghamshire
Wedding Stories
Showcasing some of the beautiful weddings I have been privileged to photograph. From Venues in the heart of the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. Blogs are great way to see how your whole wedding day will be documented. From bridal preparations, wedding ceremony, reception, right the way through to the final photo of the night.
As this year comes to a close, I look back with so much love. The past year marks my 14th season in the world of wedding photography. It's been the busiest, most vibrant year yet, and while it's nearly impossible to choose my favourite moments , each wedding has been incredible.
This year was a perfect mix of old and new - new venues that challenged my creativity and familiar ones that feel like my second home at times. Each venue providing a unique backdrop.
From The Cotswolds to Hertfordshire and even more locally to me, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Bertie (the very unoriginal name for my beetle) and I have travelled some serious miles this year. We’ve had many loud, terrible singsongs on our way home from some truly incredible weddings.
The year began at Elmore Court and ended at Lapstone Barn in the cotswolds. With a wide range of new, established and garden venues in between.
This May saw my first wedding at Rackleys Barn in Buckinghamshire. The first of many. It was a whopper! Tanya and Tom are the most chilled, happy and loved up couple. They literally seem to never stop smiling. Family is clearly important to these two and of course their super cute doggie in a bow tie.
A blog dedicated to all of the family and friends photos from 2021. After 18 months, of what felt like, solitary confinement. We were finally allowed to mix with our nearest and dearest. Not only could we see them we could also finally… hug them!
Photographing weddings in 2021 was a real honour. Being able to witness families and friends being reunited was a real treat.
Well 2021 had it all. Big weddings, small weddings. We had it all and everything in between. We may have only had around 6 months of something that resembled normality. But boy, did we all need something to celebrate!
I was lucky enough to organise a styled wedding shoot at Rackleys Barn back in April this year. This brand new wedding venue nestled in the chilterns of Buckinghamshire has only opened its doors its 2021 for. Renovated to the very highest of standards, it is sure to be number one on many brides and grooms lists when it comes to planning their wedding in Buckinghamshire.
Planning your wedding can be stressful but it doesn’t need to be.
Choosing a venue for your wedding is a BIG choice. Whether you are planning a barn wedding, a luxury stately home or something totally unique? There genuinely is something for everyone.
From Micro Weddings to Wedding Styled shoots where I teamed up with some incredible local wedding suppliers to creating some beautiful photographs in The Cotswolds and Buckinghamshire.
What a year! I feel so privileged to have been part of so many beautiful couples wedding days in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Photographing their days as they unfold.
I really don’t even know where to to start with this wedding, these two….. so kind and down to earth. I don’t think there is anyone on this planet that would have a bad word to say about them. They are EPIC! And Buckinghamshire Railway Centre is a truly unique venue.
March saw the first wedding of the season, at a wedding venue that I have always dreamed of photographing. Sarah and Seans Notley Abbey wedding did not disappoint. Sarah had dreamed of a fairytale wedding fit for a princess and that is exactly what she had.
In October, I returned to the beautiful Notley Tythe Barn to photograph a wedding. Yes, it was October but it could easily be mistaken for a summer wedding.
The glorious Dairy @ Waddesdon Manor was the location of this beautiful summer wedding. From the moment I met Gemma and Stephen, I knew I HAD to photograph this wedding. They are such a fun couple and instantly make you feel like you’ve known them for years!
