Stratton Court Barn Wedding Photography
I can not believe it was a year ago that I was returning home from this beautiful, but windy, wedding!
I first met Victoria when she nipped over for a cuppa to chat about her wedding photography needs. When she dropped in to conversation that she had studied photography at university and that her bridesmaid was a wedding photographer too, to say I had a mini panic would be an understatement! But we hit it off and arranged the engagement shoot, where I finally go to meet Tim. Who, as luck would have it, was the lovely physio from my gym… small world!
Victoria and Timothy were married at St Edburgs Church right in the centre of Bicester Town. After the ceremony, hats and fascinators were flying off heads left, right and centre. We managed to get a few group pics and a rather lush confetti tunnel done before we all made our way to the reception at Stratton Court Barn.
Stratton Court Barn is nestled in the village of Stratton Audley deep in the Oxfordshire countryside. The high ceiling, Oak beams, floor to ceiling windows and stunning flagstone floor, have all been lovingly restored. Creating a truly gorgeous wedding venue. Outside provides many photo opportunities with a tree-lined driveway and a beautiful private garden.
Fizz was served in the courtyard and the bar area before a delicious wedding breakfast in the main barn. Followed by speeches filled with laughter and lots of emotion.
The evening reception erupted with the talented Sugar Bumps taking to the stage. Creating a very high energy fun atmosphere with some crazy dancing, props and a whole heap of laughter.
A huge thank you to the first class staff at Stratton Court Barn who always keep the day running smoothly with out even a hint of stress. They are true pro’s!
