A last minute call, in the summer, saw me off on a road trip to the Cotswolds again. Katie and Nick decided last minute that they would like a photographer for their micro wedding at Cotswold House Hotel, in Chipping Campden. I was only too happy to step in. I am so glad I did too. A truly beautiful family celebrating a gorgeous wedding day, in the Cotswolds, who wouldn’t want to be part of it?
The ceremony was held in Bretforton, Evesham. Where pre drinks were consumed in the village pub alongside a Morris dancing performance. The wedding service itself, was filled with nervous giggles and great big smiles.
The reception was held at Cotswold House Hotel in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire. Where the spirit of the drinks reception, couldn’t be dampened by a little rain shower. which was great news for me because the gardens there are lush.
A huge thank you to Katie and Nick for having me along. And to all their family and friends who made me feel truly welcome. In just three hours, I don’t think I’ve ever been offered so much drink, booze and food before. You are clearly a very good bunch, who know how to throw a party!
