In February, I was lucky enough to photograph a wedding at Elmore Court in Gloucestershire. It’s an incredible venue in the cotswolds countryside. With beautiful gardens, stunning window light and the gorgeous Gillyflower. It’s easy to see why this stately home wedding venue has won so many awards.
In the week leading up to this Elmore wedding, covid threw a few hurdles in Rebekah and Shane’s direction. With their photographer and Rebekahs Hair stylist catching covid. As you can imagine, this must have been pretty darn stressful. But you would never have guessed it. This bride and groom were the smiliest couple ever. Their giggles were absolutely contagious.
Knocking on the door of The Smoking Room, where bridal prep was well underway. I could already hear the giggles of excitement inside. Which continued all morning whilst the Mimosas were flowing.
The wedding ceremony itself was held in The Hall, with the sunshine beaming though the windows. A rather nervous looking groom, Shane, was awaiting his bride. His face soon joined hers with the biggest smiles ever when he saw Rebekah walking (more like running) down the aisle.
The champagne reception was held inside the stately home before all guests were transferred to the impressive Gillyflower, for delicious food, hilarious speeches and some rather questionable dance moves.
Thank you so much for having me Rebekah and Shane, I hope your tummies didn’t ache as much as mine did from all the giggling.
It’s always lovely to work with such talented suppliers:-
